Heal with forgiveness

At times the people in our lives can say or do things that can be hurtful to us. Maybe something happened ‘in the heat of the moment’ or maybe no harm was even intended and simply an old wound got lit up for you.

Whatever the case, things happen and we have the choice to either open up and bleed and feel it all or close down and put up a wall. More often than not people prefer to run, hide and build walls, which does nothing but contribute to the sense of division and isolation from others. It takes a lot of courage to stay in one’s vulnerability when things get uncomfortable or when pain comes up.

Whether harm from another was intended or not it is an immediate healing to fully acknowledge and own the pain that can come up at times. You powerfully heal yourself and others when you allow yourself to stay fully present with your feelings rather than casting them aside as troublesome or inconvenient. If you don’t own and feel your stuff now it will come up again at another time, so you might as well just go ahead and do the work now.

Sometimes disagreements arise between people because of their differences from one another and these disagreements can be resolved gently and kindly with respect and reverence towards all involved or there can be negative reactions that individuals usually wish they had handled differently. In those times we must remind ourselves that all of us are indeed spiritual beings on a human path and nobody’s perfect. We all learn and we all make mistakes – that’s what we’re here for and is primarily how we grow.

Each one of us is so very unique and simply cannot be compared to another. Everyone is different and has their own approaches and perspectives in life. Sometimes we simply disagree on things, but we can always agree to disagree.

Truth is, we all came from the same source and we are all heading in the same direction, too. That direction is love and inclusiveness.

There are different kinds of wounds and reasons for why they are created. Some of them can be from this lifetime and some can go very far back to past lives. It is precisely at that time when you are ready to face these old wounds that they get triggered again around a specific person or place. This is no accident or coincidence and was indeed divinely orchestrated by your essence, aka your higher self, so you could release the past and move on to greener pastures.

I understand that it can be very difficult to forgive an aggressor, but the thing with holding on to anger or unforgiveness toward another is that at the end of the day the only person these heavy emotions will really harm is you. Choosing to hold on to the old toxic energy of unforgiveness is an energy leak since by doing so you are in fact keeping a piece of your energy hostage in the past. That energy could be very well be used for something much more productive such as your creative projects.

Forgiving someone doesn’t mean you condone what they did. It means releasing the toxic energy you have been holding on to so you can move on.

Let me clarify this just in case it wasn’t clear from the start: there is nothing wrong with feeling anger, unforgiveness or any other heavy emotions. When an injustice occurs, an emotional response is only natural and is there to communicate some truth to you. However, after the experience is over and lessons have been learned, it is time to let go.

Being willing to release your anger and consciously choosing to forgive is a hello to the truth that we come here to have experiences based on our spiritual agreements with one another. Once the agreements are complete and experiences have been had it is time to integrate.

Everyone heals in their own way and at their own pace. There is no rush and there is no pressure to heal fast. Most importantly you heal by expressing your feelings and the truths that have been stirred in your heart. It does not serve anyone to hold your deep truths and pain inside.

Once you reach the other side of your forgiveness process you can once again start to entertain the idea that everyone is always doing their best. Yes, even those that seem to be outright intentionally harming others. Indeed, universal justice exists and no one ever gets away with anything. This Universe of ours is a very fair and just one and we are very blessed. Staying centered in these simple truths we can start to move forward into the future with childlike innocence and trust again.

Energywork tip: you can use imagination for this forgiveness exercise. Imagine a gold rose between you and the person or event you would like to forgive. Just keep saying hello to the gold rose until you have sufficient space from this person or event. Once you get your space back and become neutral to all the strong emotions that have come up you can start to heal.

Take your time

We are always in a hurry to get to the next ‘big thing’. Same happens as we move through the tasks in a day: we go from one thing to the next without taking a proper break. It’s like the disease of this century. There never seems to be enough time to just sit, breathe and be.

Having your to-do-list crammed full of items can be like an addiction. People even brag about having a lot to do as if it were a good thing. They pride themselves on multitasking and are always chasing more activity, more money, more this or that. God forbid if you sit still for five minutes and just breathe.

Living in this way, always hurrying somewhere, you are living with a large portion of your energy either projected out into the future or stuck in the past. As in, “I will be happy when … ” – you fill the blank. To a clairvoyant it will look like your aura is projected out in front of you. With little of your energy available to you in the present, you can easily become diluted, spread too thin and simply burned out.

Always having a lot to do and a chasing a lot of things to have throws things out of balance. When your energy is spread out to the past and the future, there simply won’t be enough of you in the present and you need your energy in the present to heal your body. We can restore that balance by grounding ourselves into the present by taking more time with each task, dwelling on them a little longer to extract the full value from them and honouring the body’s limits.

A healing happens when you ground yourself back into this present moment and choose to let go of all the non-essential. It is such a beautiful gift to yourself to instead slow down, choose to have fewer things to do and savour each moment.

This business of life and living, it’s not all about doing and having. Just being is also a worthy companion.

So, who or what has control over your schedule today? Does your to-do-list include breathing breaks? Are you the one choosing your tasks or is there some other energy outside of you controlling your space? Could it be your mother’s expectations of you? Take a look right now!

Imagine if there was nothing you ‘had’ to do, then what would you want or choose to do? What comes to you as an answer to this question is probably the most important thing for you to be doing right now! And that thing may in fact be doing nothing in particular at all and simply breathing.

So, today take back ownership of your space and take your time. Slow down and take your time when you have your favourite cup of tea, when you watch your favourite TV series, when you walk through a forest, when you water your plants, when you feed your dogs, when you play with your children or when you do your work. These moments are precious and will never repeat in exactly the same way again. Nothing is permanent. Infuse lots of gratitude, appreciation and beauty into each and every moment. Be totally present and savour each moment before moving on to the next thing.

Imagine if you were infinitely lovable and taken care of by an extremely compassionate Universe, savouring each moment without hurrying to the next thing would indeed be the most beautiful gift you could possibly give to yourself. Why are you in a hurry anyways when the whole of eternity is yours to play with!

Speaking your own truth leads you to your joy

When you take the time to connect with your own truth in each moment and then speak your mind gently and with assertiveness you are being loving. Honesty is a deeply loving act. While on the other hand holding back your truth and your honest words is a way of holding back your love both for yourself as well as the others.

Sometimes the truth that needs to be spoken in the moment may not be what those around or even you yourself may want to hear as it may challenge the integrity of everyone, some changes may need to be made, but it will be a tremendous healing for all. Most of all though, truth, when spoken gently with love and assertiveness will really set you free and will be a healing for all.

If you are the type of person that loathes conflict and wants to hide his head in the sand at the first sign of trouble then it may be hard for you to stand up for yourself, speak your mind and consequently say no to others. You may be into the pattern of pleasing others and always saying what they want to hear in fear of disapproval. If so, then you are drowning out the voice of your intuition and inner knowing over the noise of other people’s expectations and demands. This is soul-destroying and invalidating for your spirit and probably also very painful for you.

This kind of distance between the real you and the you that you are in the world is rooted in some sort of a childhood trauma where you were programmed by those around you to think and believe that you didn’t matter, that you were small and undeserving of love. So because of these beliefs it can be hard for you to truly be yourself and to receive the love that you so desperately need, because you believe that you don’t really deserve it. Now is time to kick out those faulty old beliefs and claim your true worth as the son or daughter of the Creator for whom nothing is impossible. God is pure compassion and has created plenty of love and resources for all so that no one’s needs ever really go without fulfilment.

Sometimes speaking your truth can be intimidating, but it is necessary for clarity, direction and healing for all. Realise that you may be holding back tremendous soul wisdom that wants to express through you by not sharing your words. You can rest assured that if you keep holding back your words and your authenticity situations will keep presenting themselves that will keep pushing your ability to speak up and express yourself in the moment.

If you feel a sense of tightness or anxiety on your neck it means there are words that need to be expressed but you’ve held them back for one reason or another. Often the reason is fearing disapproval and being rejected and abandoned by others that don’t want to hear the truth. The truth is however if those around will abandon you for speaking up then those may not be the people you want to be hanging around with anyways. It’s a win-win for all. Most importantly, at least speak that truth to yourself first, then it will be easier to express yourself to others.

If your intention is to be loving and kind and you come from that place within you when you speak, then you will naturally start to repel those with unloving focuses and intentions. It’s not something you did wrong it’s just that the Universe is ordering events and people around you to suit your true self and your true needs in order to bring you your highest fulfilment and joy. It all starts with clarifying your intentions for yourself and then expressing that either in conversation with your guardian angels, your guides or the Supreme Being. Rest assured that you are being heard and infinitely loved at all times.

Becoming the total embodiment of your true self

Today may seem like any other day, but in reality it is a very special day indeed. Numerologically speaking today’s date carries with it the 9/9/9 vibration and holds within it immense power for healing, closure and manifestation.

This whole year of 2016 I’ve been watching with curiosity, wonder and amazement how the current year number 9 has been playing itself out. The 999 sequence has literally popped up everywhere and carries with it a lot of meaning. You can easily find out the meaning of the triple 9 by googling it, but I would encourage you to notice what this number sequence means for you personally – you can do that by just paying attention to what the events, situations, lessons and blessings are for you right now.

The number 9 is generally known to represent the Universal spiritual laws, a higher perspective, influence, non-conformity, leading life as a positive example for others, altruism, humanitarianism, philanthropy, healing, teaching, guidance, closure and endings.

Having an abundance of 9 energy in one date signifies the meaning of the number 9 being magnified, which means that it is especially important to pay attention to its meaning. Looking closely, this is truly a time of endings, of doing kind deeds for the humanity as a whole and getting down to business as far as true life purpose is concerned. It’s a good time to take a look at what you are done with and where you want to go next. Of course it can also mean completions in a karmic sense so it’s not always an easy ride – it depends on where you have been! If there is something karmic for you to look at then you may be triggered today. And that is a good thing.

In fact, the whole year of 2016 has been building up to these three dates: September 9, 18 and 27. They all hold the 9/9/9 vibration. If you look closely at the events throughout this year you can see clearly that indeed some sort of collective karmic themes have been explored. Regardless of the drama that has ensued, the most important thing is that people are awakening to their true life purpose.

From a higher perspective the 9/9/9 date signifies the fulfillment of the masculine and the feminine – the union of shiva and shakti as they are known in Hinduism. It’s a good time to take a close look at how you embody both the feminine and the masculine qualities within yourself and where you could possibly embrace more of either one or the other thus becoming more complete and whole within yourself.

Something to be aware of is that the dark masculine can be a fearsome, destructive and bloodthirsty warrior while the dark feminine can be an evil witch. We all carry the elements of both within ourselves. If you don’t accept, love and own the uncomfortable stuff it will simply get pushed into the unconscious and continue to seek expression in an unconscious way, which means it will then simply control your life from behind the scenes. By having something come up for you you will be in a position to examine it in the light of day rather than have it continue controlling your life from the unconscious.

As you own your power, sit in ownership of your true self and speak your truth, the relationships around you will inevitably change. Here’s something to bare in mind: you deserve love and respect and it’s absolutely safe to let go of relationships that do not honor and respect who you really are. If someone rejects you for who you are when you are coming from a pure and authentic place within yourself then they are in fact rejecting themselves. Leave them with their own processes, you can’t change other people’s reactions or choices. It is for them to live with. Be complete within yourself and take good care of yourself by choosing relationships and friendships that honor you. This is to say: trust the wise intuitive counsel of your body.

As a sensitive and aware being you might have been teased from an early age about your sensitivity or bullied or intimidated because you were somehow different. You might still be carrying these wounds around with you in your energy field or these old pictures that say you are somehow not good enough or somehow lacking something. It is loving toward yourself to avoid harsh relationships or situations and to steer toward simplicity. You may need lots of time today to go within and to just be with yourself and to avoid harsh situation. Enjoy and cherish your alone time.

The truth is that you have your own unique inadequacies or shortcomings and those are there for a reason. You came into this lifetime with a set of characteristics and your essence set up those to create conditions for something specific that it wanted to experience. For example, disability might mean less mobility, but it could also open up possibility for you to learn to ask for help rather than attempting to do everything by yourself. A very important theme to look at today is that of letting go of any and all judgements towards yourself.

So today situations may be coming up that may be encouraging you to stand up for yourself and walk in your truth. Maybe you are being pushed energetically and tested for how well you are established in your centre. Maybe you are tested for your ability to soften and be kind. The tendencies are all up now and up for review so you can take a really good look at where you can still grow and expand. Enjoy!

  3. Can I speak my truth without holding back?
  4. Can I be fully present and authentic with the people in my life?

  7. Am I being loving and kind towards myself?
  8. Can I embrace my shadow without trying to fix it?
  9. Am I being on my path?

Intuitive tools 101: your intuition

The beginning meditation class is the space for you to sit in spiritual validation. This psychic kindergarten space is completely free from judgement, expectation or demands and allows you to playfully connect with and trust your own answers.

The source of your own answers is your spirit and your spirit itself is of course 100% psychic already and does not need any training or development to become more psychic. Indeed, intuition and psychic abilities are entirely natural and already came with the package for you. The point of meditation in a permissive and validating environment, however, is to learn to validate and trust the communication from your spirit through your bodily sensations, feelings, emotions, images, pictures, visions or the words or sounds you hear in your inner ear. There is really nothing woo-woo about it. Being intuitive is just a matter of quieting the noise within and around you, so that you can hear, see and sense your soul’s communication.

For the sensitive and empathic ones among us the outer world can sometimes seem like a harsh place. There are many heavy energies such as fear, pain, competition, ego battles and whacks to contend with. And this is the reason why people would instinctively rather turn off their psychic abilities through activities such as denial, invalidation, over-analysis, explaining oneself to everyone, being a people pleaser, drinking coffee, drinking alcohol or taking drugs. The sensitivity and sensations can get overwhelming if we don’t know how to deal with the noise. However, turning off your intuition is counter-productive since by doing so you are also turning off a source of healing and answers.

In the beginning psychic meditation class the psychic tool of grounding is taught that helps you to take good care of your energy and to allow yourself to begin feel safe enough in your body to turn on your natural abilities again. With grounding you release any energy that is not yours and connect with your own energy instead. Your own energy clearly feels comfortable and safe for you and is your body’s preferred fuel.

The psychic meditation classes are a sanctuary space. Your intuition grows tremendously each time you validate your spirit and your own perceptions rather than rely on outer validation. For example, in the meditation classes and in the intuitive training program students can get different answers and see different colours when looking at the same thing. However, just because students see a different colour in a readee’s Crown chakra doesn’t mean that one is right and the other is wrong. Everyone has their own unique perceptions and each is valid in their own way. There is no right or wrong, so throw that judgement out straight away.

The more you meditate and develop trust in and awareness of your intuition, the more you begin to notice the communication from your spirit and the louder it gets. It can be a very handy and practical tool in making everyday life decisions. Here’s the thing with intuition: the more repetitive an emotion, sensation or an image gets – the more important it becomes for you to pay attention to whatever the message is.

Intuition can show up in many different ways. You may get a hunch, a gut feeling, hear a phrase in your mind or any other way that it could show up in. That is your intuition turned on and working for you – no matter how you experience it. Indeed, there are different ways of experiencing intuition, but in our meditations we bring ourselves to a visual level. Visualization is the most accurate means of communicating with spirit.

What could be better, more healing or inspiring than having your own clear communication with spirit, having your own intuition turned on and fined-tuned?

Most importantly, In our meditations you learn to listen to your intuition without any judgement or expectation. The energies of judgement and expectation come from the competitive everyday life world and have to do with ‘getting it right’. When it comes to your intuition, there is nothing to ‘get right’, your intuition is yours and does not need to be explained or defended to anyone. It just needs to be validated by you. Competition vs co-operation

The collective consciousness is experiencing a shift. The old picture of competition is being released and the new picture of co-operation is moving in. Human beings are finally growing up.

Competition is third chakra energy. The third chakra, which is located in the navel area is the home of energies such as effort, permission and willpower. It is the modus operandi of the young soul world-view, which is all about struggle, fighting to survive and the picture that there isn’t enough for everyone. It is not bad as such but it is the old way of being. This way of being is evidenced by non-peaceful conflict resolution between groups, tribes and countries.

Co-operation, on the other hand, is a fourth chakra energy and represents community, affinity, love, beauty, the arts, abundance, mutual support and the picture that there is plenty for everyone. The growth at this level is about self-esteem, self-image pictures, self-love and love of others. It is not without its challenges of course, but it is certainly a step up towards peace from the more warmongering third chakra perspective.

The last remains of the old competition-based world-view is the current painfully obvious 1% vs the 99% economic situation in the US or the obvious lack of a wealthy middle-class in many other countries. There appears to be a small group of extremely wealthy individuals that control the flow of resources on our planet and not leaving much for the rest of us. This truth came up because we as a human race are ready to face this, ready to look at it straight in the eye and to tackle it head on.

There are already world leaders gaining more power currently that represent the new picture, leaders that speak up and stand up for the new way, but the old is sure resistant to move out. For example, think of Bernie Sanders vs Donald Trump. This is a classic example of a leader established in co-operation world-view vs another still very much mired in the old competition.

The fact that there are still wars going on in our world or that there is tension between countries and cultures that involves aggression and violence towards one another shows we still have much work to do with blowing the old picture. The existence of deeply misguided groups of individuals that seek to destroy or the violent outbursts of separate isolated individuals shows that the collective consciousness still needs much healing. We are still wounded on a very deep level and have yet to embrace the least of us, the minorities, the abandoned, the downtrodden and the misunderstood.

The way we can all support the new world view and start contributing towards a happier, healthier and more joyous planet for us all is to let go of the fear that there isn’t enough for everyone and that we need to prepare for the worst since something ‘bad is about to happen’. That is the old picture! We must consciously entertain trust and choose to feel that we are safe and taken good care of by a loving Universe. Entertaining fear serves no one.

Imagine, if the Supreme Being was able to create the Universe, then surely, He can provide us what we need? Perhaps He has already been doing so! He has simply been waiting for our senses to grow sharper and to begin to notice and see how He is indeed supporting us.

We can all do our bit to support the new picture by acting on it rather than merely talking about it. We can all be a little more loving towards others, open up, trust people, be in the community, forgive, love the Earth and especially, love ourselves. The love we can give to others is proportionate to the love we are able to receive and to give to ourselves. This means leaving behind things that insult your soul, things that you subscribed to out of survival instinct, and instead choose what inspires, uplifts and heals you.

When conflict occurs around us or in the world at large we can all use the sadness and grief that comes up as a springboard to become even more loving. We can resolve to let go of our selfishness and instead see how we could do something to give back to the community. Perhaps through donating to charity or by volunteering our time to a local charity shop. We transform our planet through the daily acts of kindness of one loving person at a time.

Where do you find support?

Before a seed can become a flower it needs to be carefully sowed into fertile soil at the appropriate time. It then requires the gardener’s constant loving attention and care to be nurtured to its fullness, maturation and eventually flowering.

Through its growth cycle from a humble seed to a beautiful, magnificent flower, a plant has a lot of challenges to face: weather conditions, pests, birds and animals. Without the gardener’s proper care, attention and presence the flower would have difficulty in becoming all that it can be – it could not attain its optimal potential.

In the same way we are all like these flowers and we all need support and nurturing both from the Earth below our feet, the nature around us, natural seasonal cycles, from our own conscious actions as well as from those around us to become all that we can be. We are all in this life thing together and it is only through supporting each other that we can all blossom.

So where do you find support when dealing with a challenge or perhaps when your shadow has come up for review? You probably have many more sources of support than you may even be aware of. Take a moment to become aware of what supports you and be in gratitude for those. When you send your gratitude to what supports you, that support can then grow and the Universe will send you more of it.

Sometimes the support we need may not be showing up in the way that we would like. Indeed, sometimes the egos of those around us can confuse us about what is really true. We can temporarily lose touch with our true, spiritual nature and forget we are all love at the core. When outer support isn’t forthcoming, we mustn’t sit with our hands on our lap, wait for others to change first and for others to come and support us. We must always look at all the ways that we can support ourselves. Support from others has to come by God’s grace not by the demand of our egos.

The way God works might not always make sense to the human mind, the personality, but in the end the realizations and abundance are bountiful. Whatever happens, always happens as grace of God. Everything always works out for the best.

There are many ways that you can support yourself and apply the healing balm of self-love to soothe life’s harshness, which allows you to be all that you can be and show up in your fullness:

  • Unconditionally accept everything about yourself. Including the shadow.
  • Approve yourself. Don’t wait for others to come and approve of you. The only person whose approval you’ll ever need is your own.
  • Your daily spiritual practice. This could be practice such as prayer, meditation, walks in nature, yoga, selfless service and much more. Use a daily spiritual practice to keep yourself grounded in love.
  • Self-nurturing practices. Doing nice things for ourselves such as having nurturing salt baths, buying presents for ourselves, treating ourselves to something wonderful every now and then…
  • Connect with the people that nurture you. Maybe all you need is a phone call with a family member just to check in with them. Never underestimate a simple conversation with a friend or a family member. It is never a waste of time.
  • Connect with the Earth below your feet. Honor and love the Earth. Ground yourself into the planet below your feet via a grounding cord from the base of your spine. You can use the grounding technique taught at our healing centre.
  • Grounding allows your body to feel safe and secure and as a result you are able to imagine a bright and joyous future for yourself. Try the meditation class to learn the technique.
  • Your wellness practices such as observing a healthy diet, regular exercise, having massage and many others.

Self-love allows you to show up in your fullness

Sometimes that part of us that we consider dark and unacceptable, aka ‘the shadow’, comes up bringing with it some uncomfortable old emotions or experiences.

‘The shadow’ is really just an umbrella term for everything that is as of yet unknown to us about ourselves on a conscious level. It is ‘the stuff’ we have shoved into the unconscious for processing another time. It is our unconscious beliefs about ourselves and those are what either hold us back from living a life of fullness and beauty or what give us an unknown confidence and courage to reach for the stars.

Within what we call ‘the shadow’ are contained old addictions, tendencies, worries, fears, inadequacies, and so forth, all of which are the product of the experiences we’ve had over many many lifetimes. That stuff can be uncomfortable to be with and the knee-jerk reaction is to try to escape it all through some form of an addiction, which only serves to numb the pain. Healing, however, comes from not attempting to overcome your shortcomings or to seek to ‘improve yourself’, but to completely own and love whatever comes up. There is nothing to improve and everything to own and accept.

Self-love means to lovingly accept everything about yourself and not just the parts that are popular and easy to accept. This also means unconditionally loving your shadow. Apply self-love to yourself like a mother tends to her wounded child with utmost tenderness.

You become a teacher of love by simply loving yourself for all that you are without trying to hide or fix anything about yourself and by showing up authentic.

If you try to hide your shortcomings or to cover them up so as to appear strong and invulnerable to others, you are doing yourself and everyone else a disservice. No one benefits from perfection – there is enough emotional deadness already. Like a desert that is thirsty for rain, the world needs more people who walk in authenticity. Remaining vulnerable, soft and open no matter what is the greatest form of leadership and gift anyone can ever give to the planet right now.

There is a very old lie that both men and women with higher masculine energy carry around, it is the belief that vulnerability and sensitivity is a weakness. However, here’s the catch: it takes vulnerability to live your dreams and to reach fulfilment. It is your vulnerability that inspires others and allows them to feel safe enough to open up, too. It is vulnerability that creates loving communities.

If you were used to being discriminated or grew up in an unloving home you may still be feeling the effects of the abuse and wondering what you did to deserve that. Your inner child may still be carrying wounds. And you might still be looking outside of yourself for approval since none of it was forthcoming during your early years. However, no one else can ever know you in your fullness and approve all of you in the way that you can. The only person whose approval you’ll ever need is your own.

A healing gives a hello to your wholeness

The whole purpose of a healing is to restore the wholeness and wellness that already exists within you. Your body and spirit have much more self-healing capacity than you may realize.

The definition of wellness is quite frankly ‘being well’. It is the harmonic relationship that exists when your chakras spin clearly without obstructions and when there’s an optimal communication between your natural body and your spiritual body. You come to a harmonic through a healing. Imagine your body like a musical instrument – you too sometimes need a tune up.

Wellness like everything else is a vibration and can easily be accessed on an energy level through visualization. The only question is: can you have it?

You might want wellness, but if a large portion of your healing energy is focused outside of yourself healing everyone else and handling issues that have nothing to do with you then don’t be surprised if very little of that energy actually remains for you to deal with your own issues and questions. You have to give to yourself first so you can then give to others.

When you are manifesting health issues on the physical level you can be sure that those began on an energy level and can be accessed and healed clairvoyantly. It is your spirit that does the healing work, but in a healing session the healer’s purpose is to facilitate that awareness and help you access that healing energy. This works through validation – when you spirit receives validation it immediately begins to access its greater potential.

Often when you need a healing and regardless of how out of whack you may feel, there is typically only one or just a few pictures that have been blocking your natural flow. Clearing that one single picture gets your energy moving and you experiencing your natural wellness again. A healing removes the troublesome picture and restores wholeness of body, emotions, mind and spirit.

An intuitive healing is different from an intuitive reading in that in a healing we put less attention on what we are letting go of and more attention on what is coming in, that is, the next step. We do not dwell on the energy that is moving out, which are the old stories, pain and invalidation. Therefore, in a healing often less communication is offered, so as to allow for the change to happen rather than holding on to the old pictures.

You can give yourself a healing by visualizing yourself in wellness. For example, instead of worrying about something – visualize the outcome you want. Using visualization is a way to access your spirit’s creative ability and is the quickest way to create change and healing. And the best part about this is that this stuff actually works!

Honoring our limits

Unlike spirit, the physical body is not invincible or eternal. It has its limitations and you would be wise to honour those limitations – they are there for a reason.

If you want to lead a happy and healthy life of wellness you have to get very familiar with your personal unique limitations and take care to honour those. Otherwise you could set yourself up for a lot of misery later down the line.

That is not to say you should give up any and all effort as soon as you bump up against even the slightest challenge. Of course not. When the time comes, you would still occasionally want to push past your limiting beliefs, addictions or comfort zone. However, be aware if you are coming from grace and surrender or brute force. Your body is the most accurate psychic tool for letting you know how you are handling your growth periods.

Pressure, demands or competition from others may make you feel guilty or shameful about your humanness and believe you are weak if you say ‘no’, when you could be doing more, working harder and just spreading yourself super-thin trying to please everyone. Learning to set boundaries and saying ‘no’ is a big lesson for you peacemakers and unconscious healers out there.

It is a spiritual perfect picture that dictates that one should be able to achieve anything without having occasional rest, recovery or plain downtime. This is very true for the eternal and forever regenerating spirit, but not so true for the body. If pushed past its natural limits for an extended period of time without proper rest, the body will eventually create downtime for itself through illness.

You don’t have to play God for anyone, you don’t have to be perfect. A perfect picture is the result of judgement – it is not the truth or reality.

When you push past your limitations trying to be everything for everyone, you are sacrificing yourself and your own needs. This doesn’t do anyone any good, especially you. You are always teaching by your example and when you sacrifice yourself you are setting the energy and others will match to it. This will make for a whole bunch of very unhappy people, because sacrifice is an energy leak. It is not nurturing, healing or wholesome in any way.

On the other hand, when you honour your limitations and set your boundaries you will set the perfect example to others for how to take good care of oneself. An example of how to love yourself and be your own best friend. By honouring your limitations and lovingly setting your boundaries you are actually creating the space for others to show up authentic too.

Here are some practical steps that you can take to begin to honour your natural limits straight away …

  • Resting when you need to
  • Saying ‘no’ when you don’t feel like doing something
  • Not cramming your to-do-list full of unrealistic tasks
  • Setting realistic goals for yourself
  • Going more slowly
  • Eating the kinds of foods that are good for your body
  • Walking away from anything that doesn’t feel good
  • Choosing to be kind to yourself even when others aren’t
